Garden Place Senior Living Communities

There are three Garden Place Senior Living communities in the southwestern Illinois metro region. Each independent and assisted living community can accommodate single or married residents and feature senior-friendly interior design in areas, such as:

• Security features
• Individually-controlled heating and cooling
• Handicap-accessible bathrooms with special safety features
• Special lighting
• Floor coverings

The experienced Garden Place staff will evaluate each senior living resident’s unique health needs and match each resident with the best home solution. Garden Place provid es the following standard senior services at all three assisted living communities.

Independent & Assisted Living Senior Services

• Personal care, such as bathing, dressing and skin care (if needed)
• Three daily, home-cooked meals, plus snacks within the senior living communities
• Medication reminders
• 24-hour on-duty, certified CPR attendant
• Utilities included, except phone, Internet and cable TV
• Weekly light housekeeping senior services
• Maintenance senior services
• Scheduled transportation for shopping and appointments
• Laundry facilities
• In-house and day-trip senior living activities and social gatherings
• Emergency call system with 24-hour, on-site monitoring
• Scheduled use of private kitchen and dining room for personal gatherings
• Personal mailbox
• Common areas, including craft, exercise, dining and sitting rooms and a TV lounge
• Assistance in setting and meeting personal goals to remain independent and active within the senior living communities
• Medication reminders
• Notary services for seniors' legal documents within the senior living communities
• Selection of meal plans designed to meet special dietary needs
