Garden Place has independent living facilities in Red Bud & Millstadt, IL and an assisted living facility in Columbia, IL all with a reputation for going the extra mile. Our goal is to keep our clients independent so that they can continue to pursue those activities and pastimes that bring them joy through activities in and outside of our facilities. In addition, we also offer Extended Services which provides non-medical assistance to people in the comfort of their home and Adult Day care.

During my years as a nurse, director of nursing and an administrator in long term care facilities, I have witnessed the frustration of seniors and their families as self control is lost in an exchange for “safety”. Now there is a way to have both. At Garden Place, individuals keep the freedoms that go with living independently. They make their own choices about meals, personal habits and schedules. Help is available as needed for housekeeping services, meal preparation and transportation. Keeping active and involved in these activities, as well as social opportunities, is encouraged and facilitated by our caring staff. Their purpose is to provide the confidence that goes with having friends nearby and always ready and able to listen, encourage and help you accomplish what you want to do. Together we can enrich each others’ lives and the community.
